Community and Wellbeing

A Fellowship Program That Invests in the Whole Person

We believe the best physicians and scientists thrive when they feel supported, connected, and seen. Our community initiatives reflect that commitment.

HemOnc Women Physicians' Group

Led by female hematologists and oncologists, this group provides professional development, networking, and mentoring opportunities for women in our program. Active since 2022 with division-level support.

The Blackwell Society

A multidisciplinary group across WCM supporting women physicians — covering well-being, salary equity, leadership, fertility preservation, and self-care. Founded 2021; open to all WCM women physicians.

Fellowship Events & Socials

Happy hours, holiday gatherings, invited speakers’ lunches, and interdisciplinary seminars keep our community connected. American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Clinical Oncology & Research Experience (CORE) Summer Interns, Weill Cornell Medicine residents and medical students join the team for collaborative learning each year.

Career Path & Professional Development

Dedicated career path seminar series, job negotiation workshops, leadership training, and a post-fellowship mentorship structure — because we want to know where our graduates go and help them succeed.
