Central to this is our dedicated, grant-supported grant writing curriculum: a structured program that demystifies the grant process, breaking it into manageable steps, and pairing fellows with experienced faculty mentors.

BASIC RESEARCH Access to state-of-the-art Weill Cornell laboratories with opportunities to collaborate with Rockefeller University and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC). Active research areas include angiogenesis, hematopoiesis, stem cell biology, immunology, gene regulation, and molecular pathogenesis. | TRANSLATIONAL Robust biospecimen infrastructure with unique biobanks (including the largest early lung cancer biobank). Close collaboration with MSKCC and Rockefeller University on tissue-based and correlative studies. | CLINICAL RESEARCH Large multi-institutional cooperative group participation (Alliance for Clinical Trials in Oncology). Strong institutional programs in leukemia, bone marrow transplant (BMT)/stem cell transplant, immunotherapy, chimeric antigen receptor T-cell (CAR-T), and novel chemotherapy. Clinical and Translational Science Center (CTSC) courses and Master's degree program available. |

| Mentored Clinical Research Training Program (MCRTP) An 8-week program in clinical trial design, methodology, and IRB-ready protocol development — covering research design, biostatistics, regulatory process, and investigator-initiated trials with senior faculty guidance. | Clinical and Translational Science Center (CTSC) Certificate in Clinical & Translational Investigation Rigorous coursework in research design, biostatistics, pharmacology, molecular biology, and ethics — available as a 1-year certificate or incorporated into a master's degree program. |
