Weill Cornell Medical College seeks an internationally recognized investigator to become the Founding Director of our new Center for Metabolic Health. The director will develop a robust, multidisciplinary, interdepartmental research program in the diagnostics and therapeutics of diabetes, obesity and related metabolic diseases. The Director of the Center for Metabolic Health will be a scientist of the highest caliber who possesses outstanding leadership skills and the vision to develop and lead a team of scientists and physician-scientists employing cutting-edge technologies and cross-disciplinary expertise to understand the causes and develop treatments for a variety of metabolic diseases. Appointees within the center will be from across departments at the medical college and make use of state-of-the-art cellular and molecular biology, genetics, proteomics and metabolomics approaches.
