Postdoctoral Ph.D., M.D., or M.D./Ph.D. researchers can be considered for support through the Molecular and Translational Oncology Research Program (MTOR). All applicants must be citizens or permanent residents of the United States.

For Internal Applicants

Everyone who is currently a postdoctoral fellow at Weill Cornell Medicine/Meyer Cancer Center is considered an internal applicant. Application requirements for internal applicants include the following:

  • Current appointment in the laboratory of an MTOR preceptor
  • NIH biosketch
  • letter of intent describing previous education and research experiences and how this program may advance their research careers
  • brief description of a translational cancer research project (1 page)
  • 2 letters of recommendation
  • transcript of an IDP filled out online

For External Applicants

Anyone who doers not hold an appointment at Weill Cornell Medicine and the Meyer Cancer Center is considered an external applicant. Application requirements for external applicants include the following:

  • You must be conditionally accepted into the laboratory of an MTOR preceptor
  • NIH biosketch
  • letter of intent describing previous education and research experiences and how this program may advance their research careers
  • brief description of a translational cancer research project (1 page)
  • 2 letters of recommendation
  • transcript of an IDP filled out online
