Conferences

Our residency program offers a wide range of academic conferences to augment clinical training. Morning Report is facilitated by the Assistant Chief Resident and features a weekly rotation of attendings from different specialties who share expert insights on cases relating to their respective fields. Independent intern and resident academic time curricula allow conferences to be tailored to the audience and encourage interactive learning. Every Friday, noon conference features one of four didactic sessions: Morbidity & Mortality Conference, Journal Club, Patient Safety Conference, or Chair’s Conference, a case-based discussion with the Chair of Medicine.

The Department of Medicine Grand Rounds offers opportunities to learn about important clinical and scientific advances from renowned speakers from across the country and incorporates a quarterly Clinical Pathologic Conference series presented by rising Chief Medical Residents.
