Research Interest: I am training as a physician scientist interested in the effects of CMV co-infection in
people living with HIV. My research involves characterizing the latent HIV reservoir in CMV+ specific
CD4+ T cells and investigating how repeated antigen exposure from CMV shedding impacts the behavior of these reservoir cells.

Research Interests: My research interests focus on diagnostic stewardship and hospital epidemiology. I participated in the Quality Improvement Academy 2025-2026 where my project involved implementing order panels to assist with appropriate inpatient CMV and EBV testing. I also completed a Masters in Health Informatics and AI and am working with the Cornell Hospital Epidemiologists to develop a machine learning tool to assist with surveillance and prediction of non-ventilator associated hospital acquired pnuemonia (NV-HAP). My goal is to pursue a career in academic research and hospital epidemiology.

Research InterestMy research interests include nontuberculous mycobacteria and molecular diagnostics, with a specific focus on predictors of disease severity in MAC pulmonary disease. I am also obtaining a master’s degree in clinical and translational investigation to augment my clinical training with the data science skills needed for a career in clinical research.
