Star Performers Employee Recognition Program

The “STAR Performer” Employee Recognition Program, sponsored by the Weill Department of Medicine, recognizes outstanding non-physician employees who work in all areas, including administration, clinical care and research. Read about this year's Super Star employees.

What makes a “STAR”?

Service that is consistently exceptional!

Thoughtful, considerate treatment of others!

Actions demonstrate extraordinary dedication!

Role model of excellence!

How does the nomination process work?

Physicians, patients, and colleagues may nominate any non-physician employee working in the department. All nominations are reviewed by the department's Star Performer Committee, and selected employees are announced on a monthly basis.

It's easy to nominate an employee!

  1. There are nomination boxes and applications at 36 locations throughout the Weill Department of Medicine. Simply fill out the nomination form and drop it in the box.
  2. You may also use our online nomination form. Your information will be automatically forwarded to the department's Associate Director of Faculty & Staff Support, who serves on the Star Performer Committee.
