Dr. Fabio Giron
Dr. Fabio Giron has received the Physician of the Year Award from the Department of Nursing for his collaborative spirit and ongoing collegial support. The ICU Nursing Team noted that he is a transformational leader in the Intensive Care Unit and plays an instrumental role in facilitating collaboration with nursing and other members of the inter-professional team.
The Nursing Team also emphasized that Dr. Giron is always available to share clinical knowledge and provide explanations for treatment plans, which is a critical component in making a positive impact upon patient outcomes and encouraging a culture of patient-centered care.
Dr. Giron is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine in the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine, Weill Department of Medicine.
