Dr. Michael Knight

Dr. Michael G. Knight, one of our residents training in the Internal Medicine Residency Training Program at NYP/WCM, was chosen as a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Clinical Scholar. He is one of the last cohorts (2015) selected for inclusion in this prestigious and highly competitive clinical scholars program. His proposal submitted to the RWJF focuses on a faith-based diabetes prevention initiative.

Dr. Knight obtained his Doctor of Medicine degree with special qualifications in Biomedical Research at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine, of Case Western Reserve University (Cleveland, OH). He was featured in last year's Weill Department of Medicine Annual Report, in which he stated: "As I prepare for a career at the intersection of clinical medicine, community advocacy and executive leadership, the daily experiences that I have gained continue to fuel my passion for patient care."
