Dr. Leonard Receives Honorary Fellowship Award from the Weill Cornell Medical College Alumni Association

Dr. John Leonard

Dr. John P. Leonard, the Richard T. Silver Distinguished Professor of Hematology and Medical Oncology, has been named as a recipient of the Honorary Fellowship Award from the Weill Cornell Medical College Alumni Association. The award will be presented to Dr. Leonard at the Alumni Association’s reunion event held on October 5, 2018. Since 1970, this award has been given annually to Weill Cornell faculty (who did not receive an M.D. or Ph.D. from the Medical College) in recognition of their outstanding service at Weill Cornell. In particular, it recognizes faculty members whose scholarship, dedication, and leadership have greatly enriched the life of the Medical College, its faculty and its students.

Dr. Leonard has served in the WDOM as a former Interim Chair, and currently, as the department’s Vice Chair for Clinical Research. He is also the Associate Dean of Clinical Research for Weill Cornell Medicine. The WDOM congratulates Dr. Leonard on this coveted honor.
