Dr. Sebastian Mayer, Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine, has been appointed to serve as Ambulatory Director for the Division of Hematology and Medical Oncology. In this pivotal role, he will work closely with Weill Cornell Medicine and NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital leadership to promote and ensure exceptional patient care in the ambulatory setting. He will focus his efforts on patient safety and quality-of-care and, at the same time, partner on strategic plans for clinical programs and issues related to ambulatory clinics. He will also play a major role in the oversight of clinical operations, strategic planning, and space utilization for the Division of Hematology and Medical Oncology.
