Dr. Jane Salmon
Dr. Jane Salmon has been named an honorary member of the European League Against Rheumatism (EULAR), making her the third American to receive the prestigious honor. Weill Cornell Medicine’s Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs and a Professor of Medicine in the WDOM, Dr. Salmon has been at the forefront of research in rheumatic disease, particularly systemic lupus erythematosus, for several decades. This honor reflects her pioneering work in the treatment and prevention of rheumatic disease, as well as her outstanding service in furthering the EULAR’s goals in education, research, and in raising EULAR’s profile on the world stage.
