Dr. Tsiporah Shore has been named Vice Chair for Compliance in the WDOM and also Clinical Director for Inpatient Oncology Operations in the WDOM’s Division of Hematology & Oncology. Serving as Vice Chair for Compliance, Dr. Shore will expand her current responsibilities by representing the WDOM on compliance matters related to the department for Weill Cornell Medicine’s Physician Organization, as well as for Weill Cornell Medicine and NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. She will work closely with the division chiefs and faculty in the WDOM on policy, operational and educational initiatives to ensure that the department meets institutional and regulatory compliance.
As Clinical Director for Inpatient Oncology, Dr. Shore will take on a greater leadership role in the clinical operations of the Weill Cornell-NYP cancer program, providing leadership in support of the inpatient service to ensure high quality patient care. To that end, she will work closely with NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital leadership to continue to optimize the operations of inpatient oncology. She will act as a liaison between the unit-based oncology medical directors, Service Chiefs, and the Division Chief. Additionally, she will partner with the Director of Oncology Nursing and leader of the oncology physician assistants.
