WCM entrance

Weill Cornell Medicine is one of only 19 graduate schools in the country, and the only medical school in the state of New York, to be awarded a four-year $2.7 million grant from the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA). The monies will go to establish a Diversity Center of Excellence, which will operate under the auspices of the Cornell Center for Health Equity. An article in the Cornell Chronicle announced the new grant and included quotes from Dr. Susana Morales, Co-principal Investigator of the grant and Vice Chair for Diversity (WDOM), and Dr. Monika Safford, Chief of the Division of General Internal Medicine and Co-director of the Cornell Center for Health Equity, on furthering diversity at Weill Cornell.
