Founded and directed by Dr. Rahul Sharma, a new summer program is enabling Weill Cornell medical students to learn about the intersection between medicine and business. The students are exposed to leadership and management activities over 8 weeks, including hospital administration, finance, patient safety, research projects, and more. The new program has been designed with an ultimate goal in mind: to train a new generation of physician-leaders who will be well-equipped to shape policies and practices in patient care.
