Giving

We welcome gifts in all amounts and would like to make the process as simple as possible. Your gift to the Weill Department of Medicine is tax-deductible to the full extent allowed by law.

The ongoing support of our donors continues to enable us to maintain our standards of excellence, which ultimately benefit the community we serve. Thank you!

The Advancing Medicine Fund

The Advancing Medicine Fund supports endeavors in the Weill Department of Medicine to truly make a difference in:

  • delivering outstanding patient care
  • the education of physician-scientists
  • the development of groundbreaking research

Our physicians receive patients from all walks of life of the multicultural communities of New York City, as well as from around the world. Many of our patients face life-threatening diseases, from cancers and heart disease, to kidney and infectious diseases. Life-saving therapies and treatments provided within the Weill Department of Medicine have ensured successful outcomes for our patients.

The Fund for the Future

The Fund for the Future award supports selected junior faculty during a crucial period in their career development - the completion of their research training into the early years of their first faculty position at Weill Cornell Medicine. Backed by the generosity of donors to the Weill Department of Medicine (WDOM) and Iris Cantor Center for Women’s Health, the Fund for the Future program provides an initial year of funding to the recipient with a total funding maximum of $300,000. This funding is based upon academic progress and a competitive training award (such as an NIH K) application timeline within 18 months of initiation of the Fund for the Future support.
