On the heels of his recent success with the medical textbook “Systemic Disease Manifestations in the Foot, Ankle, and Lower Extremity” and acclaimed book Dinner with DiMaggio, Dr. Rock G. Positano has authored a new book targeted to medical professionals in the field of foot and ankle orthopedics and medicine. Entitled Pocket Foot and Ankle Medicine and Surgery, the new book is part of a highly successful “Pocket Series” of medical specialty notebooks published by Wolters Kluwer. Recognized nationally and internationally, the publication is considered a “go-to-resource for essential, up-to-date information for orthopedic surgeons, podiatrists, and residents presented in a concise, quick-to-grasp format.”
Dr. Positano, who holds three appointments in separate departments at Weill Cornell Medicine, including the WDOM, has been leading a division for foot care at NYPH/WCM since 2001. This service is dedicated to evaluating the majority of foot and ankle disorders that can be treated successfully without surgery.
