After a highly competitive interview process, the WDOM is excited to announce that it has been another successful year for the Intern Match. A total of 45 interns have been selected to begin training in the department’s Internal Medicine Residency Training Program, which is under the direction of the Dr. Kirana Gudi. The interns are matched to a particular track of training – Categorical, Primary Care, or Research. This year’s group of interns include 24 women and 21 men who hail from a total of 30 different top tier medical schools including 6 from Weill Cornell Medical College.
