Q: What is required for a complete application?

  • Completed ERAS application
  • MSPE or Dean's letter
  • Department of Medicine Chairman's Letter
  • At least two additional letters of recommendation
  • Medical school transcript
  • USMLE Step 1 Transcript (Step 2 and/or 3 when available)
  • Personal Statement
  • Q: When is the application deadline?

    A: We will not consider applications submitted after October 1, 2019.

    Q: Do you accept International Medical Graduates?

    A: Yes.

    Q: When are interviews?

    A: Interviews are by invitation only from November 2019 through January 2020, on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

    Q: Are there additional requirements for IMGs?

    A: In addition to complete application instructions above, a current ECFMG is required.

    Q: Do you sponsor or accept any visas?

    A: NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital only accepts J1 visas.

    Q: How many positions are there in the Internal Medicine Residency Program?

    A: Categorical Track: 35
    Primary Care Track: 4
