Research Administrator Kristen Brady Runs Half-Marathon to Raise Awareness of Children's Congenital Heart Conditions

On Feb. 26, Kristen Brady, Assistant Director of Research Administration in the Department, ran the 2024 Disney half-marathon and raised $3,250 for the Children’s Heart Foundation. Two of Kristen’s children have significant congenital heart defects. Her four-year-old daughter’s complex heart condition required three surgeries; today she thrives using half a heart.
