In Memory of Jill Roberts – Friend and Supporter

It is with sadness that the WDOM has lost one of its most beloved benefactors, Jill Roberts, who passed away peacefully over the weekend. Jill Roberts was enthusiastically involved in our institutions and committed to improving the lives of those with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). She generously supported the creation of the Jill Roberts Center for Inflammatory Bowel Disease, where she was an active volunteer. Her philanthropy was also the catalyst for the Jill Roberts Institute for Research in IBD. Additionally, Jill was a supporter of the NewYork-Presbyterian David H. Koch Center, endowed two professorships at Weill Cornell Medicine, and she funded scholarships for our medical students, as well as endeavors in health equity research and cancer prevention. Jill Roberts will be missed greatly, but her legacy will live on.
