The Employee Recognition Review Committee (R3) celebrated the Weill Department of Medicine's star performers at the Annual RRR (Results, Rewards, Recognition) Reception held at the Griffis Faculty Club on November 10, 2015.
Judy Tung, M.D., will be joining NewYork-Presbyterian/Lower Manhattan Hospital (NYP/LMH) to serve as Chair of the Department of Medicine as of January 2016. A leading expert in internal medicine and primary care, Dr. Tung also specializes in women's health.
Dr. Salmon will oversee Weill Cornell Medicine's Office of Faculty Affairs, working closely with Assistant Dean of Faculty Affairs Mark Albano, senior leadership, and department chairs to implement best practices for appointments, promotions, and tenure actions. She will also coordinate with the Office of Faculty Development and the Office of Diversity and Inclusion on behalf of clinical, teaching and research faculty.

The Super Star winners were Angie McNally, Administrative Specialist, Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine, and Allison Lasky, Administrative Coordinator, Division of Geriatrics and Palliative Care Medicine.
Robert S. Brown, Jr., M.D., M.P.H., has been appointed to Vice Chair of Transitions of Care for the Weill Department of Medicine (WDOM). He is the Interim Chief of the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology and the Director of the Center for Liver Disease and Transplantation at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center. Additionally, Dr. Brown holds the title of Professor of Clinical Medicine at Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons.
As Vice Chair for Basic and Translational Research, Dr. Lipkin will work closely with departmental and divisional leadership to enhance and foster the research activities of our faculty and trainees.
