#HairstylesForHeroes is a fundraising initiative to support Weill Cornell Medicine’s Department of Medicine junior faculty members and trainees, who have served on the front lines of the pandemic response.
The award supports selected faculty during the crucial period of career development, spanning completion of research training through the early years of their first faculty position held at Weill Cornell Medicine.
A member of the Weill Department of Medicine for more than 40 years, Dr. Reidenberg exemplified unwavering dedication in all of his roles as a physician, investigator, educator, and academic leader.
In this role, he will establish an office of entrepreneurship while working closely with senior leadership and investigators at Weill Cornell Medicine, Cornell’s Ithaca campus, Cornell Tech, the Tri-Institutional community, and other partners.
Dr. Shore will represent the WDOM on compliance matters related to the department, and provide leadership in support of the inpatient service to ensure high quality patient care.
In this pivotal role, he will work closely with Weill Cornell Medicine and NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital leadership to promote and ensure exceptional patient care in the ambulatory setting.
WDOM has lost one of its most beloved benefactors, Jill Roberts, who passed away peacefully over the weekend. Jill Roberts was enthusiastically involved in our institutions and committed to improving the lives of those with IBD.
The innovative program brings interdisciplinary faculty together to work on enhancing academic careers in research, medical education, and clinical excellence.
In her role as Associate Dean for Faculty Development, she will be providing the Office of Faculty Development with operational and strategic support.
The festive and extremely well-attended event included trainees, faculty, as well as Dr. Susana Morales, Vice Chair, Office of Diversity, and many other members of diversity leadership.
